To "Proud Canadian": I'm Canadian too and think Rim is a GREAT company, but so is Apple. Personaly , I think is there plenty of room for BOTH companies to grow, as market penetration for top end smartphones is not at all very high yet. Not everyone wants music on their phone, and not everyone needs the level of security that Rim offers.

As a Canadian, I will also add that we have a number of well managed, steadily growing companies, out of which the Fool has selected 4 for comment. Also evidence that we can grow good companies is the fact that in the last 18 months or so, not only U.S. but International Corporations have bought a number of our success stories.
