      Why Friday Came Early
The average american and a congress man don't understand how it got this bad. I don't think no one understand or fathom how we got here and how we are going to go out of this mess. I guarantee you that 99% of Americans don't know derivatives and credit swaps. I won't be surprised if the majority congress don't have a clue how this $750 billion dollar will solve this issue, if it does at all. The government should not be bailing out this companies but they should them die slow painful death or let them figure out what to do . They have already done enough damage to this country. I think we will be better off without this pathetic investment banks who has done nothing but stole billions of dollars from you and me.

The $64 Trillion Question: What's the Dollar Really Worth?
The biggest threat of US dollar is the national debt. I am not sure why you didn't mention it in your article.

Yahoo and Verizon Extend Their Portal Deal
If the stock continue to drop, I will imagine that Yang will probably resign. I think the pressure to get the stock up is huge and frankly I don't see any catalyst to get this stock move up. Yang resisted the take over as if he had a magic formula to increase shareholders value. I don't blame him as much as I blame those who voted to keep him. You got what you wanted.

      See you at 10

Google’s Chrome Saturating an Already Crowded Browser Market
I have been using both IE and firefox for the last two years. I switched to vista about 6 months ago, I had so much problem with IE so I have been using firefox about 75% of the time.

I tried chrome today and I was impressed. It seems that it load sites a bit faster than firefox and IE. I also enjoyed some of their nifty stuff they added. For example, the ability to go to a site without leaving any trace that you have been on the site on the computer. This is specially nice future If you are on public computer and want to check your bank statements and etc. I also love the fact that most of my freqent sites are available for click when you open chrome.

Being a website developer, I use browser 6-8 hrs a day and I do have to say the speed, the slick look without lots of junk has convinced me to make it my primary browser.

Boeing Drags Its Heels on Air Force Bid
I am not an American nor live in US but I am BA share holder. It boggles my mind why US Air Force is willing and wanting to give the contact for a foreign company. Based on what I read, both companies (BA and Airbus) are presenting comparable product to the air force. I do realize BA's proposal which is based on 767 is smaller but BA can also use the 777 given enough time to bid.

I am not saying other countries don't buy foreign products but for most part they buy foreign products because the foreign product is much better and it's no way comparable.

I don't know but I just feel that Air Force is willing to do anything to make it harder for a domestic company. If anything, they should make it easier.

Enjoy These 'Dollar Days' - But Will They Last?
In the long run US dollar will drop significantly due to the growing US debt. Currently US is paying 400Billion dollar/yr just on interest alone. It is hard to be optimistic on US dollar while the government continue to let this 9 trillion dollar debt grow. Remember, Albert Einstein once said, "The most powerful force in the universe is compound interest." Soon or later this force will come back to bite us...

Looking for a Cause for Thursday's Sell-off? Blame Greenspan
Wallstreet listens to Greenspan because he has knowledge and he is probably one of the few people who can actually understand what kind of mess we are in.

May be CNBC should give you airtime for your "analysis" instead of Greenspan who is by far probably one of the smartest economist around.

How Will Rising Fuel Prices Impact Demand for Aircraft? -- Boeing Comments
Just because high oil price is not good for US, it doesn't mean it is not good for oil producing countries. What we are seeing right now is wealth transfer from the west to the east. Middle east is booming. Russia is booming. The people in these countries and becoming rich and powerful. Their demand for new planes will grow.

Is Boeing Ready To Take Off?
It's a good news that no airline has canceled 787 orders but the bad news is that the cost of making 787 is going up drastically due to inflation.
I read an interview with a CEO of African/Asian airline why the airline is not canceling their 787 orders. His response was that the price of 787 has gone up so much since the airline put the order 2-3 years ago, it makes no sense for the airline to cancel their order at this time. I guess the only problem I see with the backlogs is that the profit margin on these orders may continue to shrink as materials to make those planes rise.
