      I think the point is that Jerry Yang and the Board profess to be making decisions based on their shareholders, then their employees, then their customers, but in the end Jerry and the Board are only concerned about themselves

      Looking confident - see Tim's new article. You compared two different types of revenue. The lower Revenue ex-TAC for last quarter with the projection of the regular revenue without the deduction for traffice acquisition costs. ITS NOT 42% growth. Its 0% growth.

      What Should Jerry Do? My Advice to Yahoo
      It looks like the stock is staying between $24 and $26 like he says in the article. Is it legal for wall street to do this? You would have thought that the 25 puts would have been worth a lot more after Microsoft gave up. I don't own a lot of shares, but I am going to sell today.

      I thnk a its great suggestion. It would show the employees that he does have faith in his plan. It would show the shareholders that he has a real plan. Kind of like putting your money where your mouth is.

      As a shareholder, I would want the money, but if they are not going to sell, Yang needs to either do something like this or quit. I think the employees don't trust him.

      What will happen to Yahoo if Jerry gets fired? I think I am selling.

      Apple - Yahoo made it about wall Street, the brokers et al when they agreed to discuss a sale and start negotiations. When you are a public company, its about the shareholders. There is nobody at Yahoo who is anywhere close to being the visionary or leader or strategic thinker that Steve Jobs is.

      Thanks for the article. Great advice for them. I don't think the deal with Microsoft will get done soon. Ballmer has too much ego to give in now. Like you predicted in the other article, Yahoo is alaready being distracted. I hear the execs are going to be traveling to all the offices to reassure employees to stay. Not a good sign. I think you hit Ballmer's strategy right on the head in the other article. Now it is time for Jerry to listen.

      Balmer was willing to pay $40 a year ago? and my house was worth a million dollars a year ago too. Things change. Beer truck drivers lazy? What a comment.

      And Jerry is cleaning up after Semel, sure after he hired him and paid him hundreds of millions? He is a good judge of talent then Huh?

      Good article. I wouldn't think that those guys were that sneeky, but I think that strategy could work. Yang needs help, maybe he will pay you to help. What should Yang do now?
