Is GE Action a Sign of a Turn?
A solid, in-depth analysis, Larry, though I wish you would be less verbose.

Suggestion: In the future, consider using numbers in your assessment. I know they're funny looking, but quite a few people consider them useful these days in evaluating equities.

Prescient Nokia Analyst Turns Bullish on the Stock
I think he's right. Nokia could go higher here, unless things don't go well, in which case, it could go lower. Seems that way with a lot of stocks I own. And, regarding Nokia's high end, I had an uncle with that same condition. He adapted by wearing his pants lower, and his belt very tightly secured.

      Best of luck to all.

Six Attractive Stocks with Hidden Gems
Is it really spelled "Kindle". I bought it thinking it was a Kandle. It burned pretty well the first few nights, but nothing since. Just a scorched melted blob remains, welded to my kitchen counter. Don't think I could honestly recommend it. Oh well, they say we learn from our mist cakes, whatever those are. Why is life so confusing?

      A Real iPhone Challenger - Barron's
What a bunch of nonsense. I'm sticking with my Iridium phone. Still the best, and it's backed by Motorola, the leading cell phone maker.

UnitedHealth Group: Dominant Industry Leader on Sale
New membership trends have not been encouraging and large acquisitions to boost membership are pretty much out of the question now on anti-trust grounds. If anyone wants my shares for what I paid, they're welcome to them.

      Will GE Drop Below $30?
Come, come! This is financial journalism at its best. A fine bit of investigative work, to boot. My hat's off to you, sir, on a job well done. First of all, your typing is immaculate. I wholly applaud your use of black ink against a white background, for maximum contrast. Jolly good! Second, your one-year chart is spot-on, and directly supports all the strengths of your written argument. If you follow the line from left to right, it trails downward, without a doubt! Only a fool would fail to recognize the trend. As a result of reading this gem of an article, I have scraped together every cent I could muster, both from the family fortune and from every friend and acquaintance I know, and have shorted the daylights out of GE. When the billions start rolling in, over the next few months, we will celebrate your name, sir, erect a statue in your honor and savor the whimpers and cries of anguish, of those who dared to question your dazzling insight. Bravo! I repeat thrice more, Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Odyssey Marine Strikes Major Deal with Discovery Communications
You don't need to have a good case in these matters, to tie things up legally for years. All you need are deep pockets and persistence. They may settle out of court, at some point, but OMEX will get a pittance, if they're lucky, or still in business.

One more little thing. This company lost $23 million last year, so what's $2 million from Discovery worth. This company will have to issue more stock to cover it's losses and to keep paying its lawyers. Buying this stock is not a call option on anything. Don't delude yourself.

      Erick:
Don't listen to what these bozos say. You wrote a very nice article. Your spelling and punctuation are perfect! You also used a very good assortment of words, many of them containing more than 3 syllables.
You're a great writer, Son. Keep up the good work! I wish your brother Richie wrote half as well.

Pioneer Drilling Company: Growing Despite Challenging Economy
Also, the company, as should have been mentioned, is in the gas drilling business, I think, but don't hold me to it. It has a nice name, that evokes images of bearded guys in crumpled, sweaty hats working outdoors in hostile conditions. (blowing dust and such, maybe a swarm of locusts, occasionally) Very cool. Management seems to have real gumption, whatever that is.
