      General Discussion on SIRI
Siri fell to $2.45 today. Should I pick up more, or wait till it goes lower? Bottom fishing is my favorite sport.

Oil Will Peak at $150-200 - Barron's Interview
I was wondering if it's a good time to buy the USO ETF?? I sometimes wonder if the train has already left the station, but then oil still keeps going higher. I am afraid if I buy into the oil boom, then the next day there's a huge correction in the price of oil. That's my luck. There's really no fundamental reason for oil to keep going higher. It's a bunch of speculators and analysts behind the rise in the price of oil. I know this because last week oil corrected to $122 a barrel, and then all of a sudden Goldman Sachs analysts predicted in the same week oil would spike to $150. Guess what? Oil spikes $10 to $138 That's evidence that the price of oil is being highly manipulated. That's really some voodoo economics at play. Expect an oil glut soon, and precipitous decline in the price of oil. We saw this happen back in the 1980's, and we will see it again soon.

i just can't see this stock doing anything, even if it merges - not after a day like today on Wall Street.

America's Energy Policy: Coming to Terms with Reality
I wait for wait anxiously for another round of brainless silliness of Mr. Picerno's next post.It seems that every time the gas prices go way up, the news media and big oil apologists such as Mr. Picerno start bleating the same old "supply and demand" line. There's plenty of oil to meet the demand! If the truth be known, the big oil companies and their speculating henchmen on Wall Street are responsible for these high oil prices.

Is Oil a Bubble? Part One
I doubt if nuclear power will be a viable option. Look at the radioactive waste that is already being produced. Where do we put all the tons of radioactive waste that is being produced? Every year the amount of radioactive wastes from nuclear reactor increases. We should look to the sun and wind as a source for our energy needs.

Oil Is Up Due to Fundamentals, Not Speculation
A barrel of oil has risen nearly 400% since September of 2003!! Nothing in this world could possibly be in that much in demand to cause such a run up in the last 5 years -not the finest silk in all of China, or the finest wines from France. The "peak oil" canard just doesn't jibe. I believe it as much as do the Global Warming canard. Someone needs to investigate this racket, or start imposing severe windfall profits tax on these oil companies, and impose strict tariffs on all imported oil.

Radiostat 4 is ground spare satellite ready for backup in case any one of the orbital satellites fail. Where can you go wrong with 8.3 million subscribers and Howard Stern??

      General Discussion on SIRI
Someone told me that XM and Sirius promised the FCC that when they were first granted their licenses back in the 1990's that they would never merge. I was wondering if that was true? I was wondering if this was partly the reason why the FCC is dragging it's toes on this deal? I know promises are promises, and sometimes can be broken.

What different does it make if partisan politics is being played out at the FCC? We should write the FCC, and tell them to stop delaying the merger of XM and Sirius. I've already sent them e-mails, and this week I sent them a letter via snail mail. I plan to send them more e-mails and letters.

A Look at Satellite Radio Earnings, Subscribers
Jim Cramer mentioned on his Lightening Round a couple of weeks ago that if XM and Sirius merge, you will have a $5 stock. I think it will be sooner than most people think.
