      When will we know when the final approval draws any closer? I thought the final approval would have been likely to happen this week? Maybe next week at the very latest? When is that next FCC meeting? Here's the number to the FCC 1-888-225-5322. Keep calling!! I will certainly be calling them starting Monday.

      Hmmm new cars and frappuccinos? I haven't bought a new car in over 7 years, and I've never been to a Starbucks either? Vicar...are you trying to categorize satellite radio listeners as a bunch of BMW driving, latte-sipping, yuppies? Fortunately...most satellite radio listners don't fall into that category. I will have my satellite radio any day over a new car and some expensive frappuccino from Starbucks!!!

      I guess that's all Bush can do is saber rattle against Iran. This saber rattling has been going on for more than 2 years, and the only thing that happens is that oil keeps climbing higher. Bush keeps the price of oil elevated , so that his buddies in the oil business can reap more profits. If the U.S. and Israel, the greater the profits for Big Oil.

      Anyway of Vicar of Valueless....you and Stathis have made it abundantly clear what the downside potential is of siri/xm. This stock, siri, has lost nearly 30% of its value since the Justice Department approved the merger. The downside potential has already been priced into this stock. It's already been beat up enough by you, Stathis, and the boys at Goldman. In fact just today the Rhinestone Cowboy, Glen Campbell, at Merill had to give up his delusional negativity on siri, and go with an upgrade on siri. Things are starting to turn around. Hacks from the NAB are going to coming out of the woodwork to downgrade this company and stock. Soon you'll have to be waiting line to eat your words Vicar of Valueless.

      Vicar of vapid ...we've heard from plenty of voices of dissent, chiefly the NAB, Georgetown Partners,the FCC, and a slew of other organizations opposed to the merger. No one asked for you to bring your voice of dissent to this forum. You're not telling us any thing that we probably do not know already. But unfortunately...you still impose your bilious dissent upon us all, and we disrespectfully will not oblige you. We've already connected all the dots and did all the math. We do not need your help or expertise in doing so. We are not as simple minded as you would hope.

      Vicar of Value...I think you've become a very sad excuse as an ardent hack for the NAB and Georgetown Partners. Why do you think the NAB has spent millions fighting against this merger?? If satellite radio is ready to go down the toilet, then why don't these organizations at least have half the common sense that you have, and quit spending their time, energy and money fighting against this presumably failed merger between these two companies??? Can you give me one good answer? Why do they waste their valuable time, energy and money fighting the merger? Why do you come here and waste your time and energy? What's your agenda??

      Vicar of Value...you and others have already stated that siri and xm have a dismal outlook over and over again.You're telling me something that I probably already know. Sat Radio is burdened with debt. Business model has no exit barriers. It's just plain dead money etc etc etc... But Vicar you can't go on forever shorting this stock. What's the point of shorting a $2 stock?? You and other shorts have pretty much have squeezed the juice out of this turnip. It just will not produce. I am really beginning to understand your frustration. I think you and other shorts should move on to something like KKD? Maybe some analyst at Goldman will cut it to a convicted sell rating and you can make your money on a $5 stock instead of $2, since you and Stathis have such a negative outlook on either siri and kkd. Stathis really shows his presumptive ego when he lumps siri share holders in with kkd share holders. I am really surprised that would even give this man any appraisal. Your frustration is really beginning to show. Goldman is certainly capable of pulling something out of their ass about siri, and Stathis and you will swallow it hook, line and sinker. Anyway I could give you all the reasons why I am still long on siri, but it wouldn't matter because there are a millions egotists such as Stathis who will back you up all the way.

      I guess the shorts don't want to miss out. This pop to 2.10 is telling. Something is about to happen. Kevin Martin should be on his way back from his Asian trip. I myself will be back in on monday. I was long too, but had to get out for a little bit. Couldn't stand the heat. But I don't want to get caught with my pants down either.
