Sirius and XMSR's Six Year Prison Sentence
Why has the US Attorney General's office not yet begun an investigation on terrestrial radio and the NAB for violations of the RICO Act?

Sirius and XMSR's Six Year Prison Sentence
If the FCC were really concerned about leveling the playing field they would get terrestrial broadcasters and the NAB under control and force them to make concessions, and allow satellite radio to merge without any concessions.

Adelstein obviously has no understanding of the technology the FCC is charged with overseeing. In view of his head-up-a@@ demand the NAB should be equally required to convert all existing radios to be able to receive sat-rad broadcasts. Come on guys, it's been 18 months, Sirius/XM have offered concessions that are more than generous and the FCC still cannot get of their rears!! And you wonder why Americans are disgusted and disgruntled with how our federal govenment is being run, and I mean legislature, executive and the judiciary, all inclusive!! One other thought, I thought the window closed for input to the FCC months ago, why is Markey only now speaking up, and why are his comments being given any merit?

Sirius and XM Satellite Merger Set for Approval; RBC Lowers Price Targets
The FCC has delayed this merger so long it is no longer an attractive proposal. I think Sirius should withdraw their offer. The merger is all downside for Sirius and upside for XM. In such case, I give XM a year and they will be filing bankruptcy, then Sirius can pick up those customers with no FCC interference.

Sirius, XM: FCC Determined to Establish Its Authority
      Response to "karaokejb".

The problem is not the AG's and Congress. The problem is the FCC kissing the NAB backsides. That is why we need a serious inquiry to determine how much of a bribe Martin has received from the NAB, and chage the whole lot with violations of the racketeering laws. Let's put their butts in prison where they belong!!!

Sirius, XM: FCC Determined to Establish Its Authority
I have contacted both of my Senators from Kentucky and asked that a special prosecutor be named to investigate the relationship between the FCC and the NAB. In both cases I received milk-toast responses indicating they were going to do nothing. I would have to say at this point that the merger is dead. It will take some time but we will still end up with one satellite radio company due to bankruptcy and not have anything to chose from but to decide which liberal terrestrial radio station to listen to. Freedom is dead, long live liberalism!!!

Attorneys General Lobbying Against XM-Sirius License Transfer
We already know that the NAB has bought 77 Congressional representatives. Now we learn (not surprisingly) that they own 11 AG's. The NAB would do well to start cleaning up their own house so they are prepared for the digital wave that is sure to overtake them, just as the television broadcasters have been hit. Okay, the NAB owns Martin, but he won't be there forever. Sooner or later the FCC will want to sell the spectrum that terrestrial radio is using and terrestrial radio broadcasters will be forced into a narrow digital segment. Are they ready for that, or would they rather spend their time trying to deny advanced service to the American public?

XMSR and Sirius: Bigger Problems Than FCC Approval
It seems to me that Sirius/XM could claim defacto approval for the merger based upon the unrestricted approval from the DOJ and the failure of the FCC to act in a timely manner. After all, the FCC's own clock is 180 days, and that ran out 4 or 5 months ago.

      Note to GPHMoney.

Department of Justice approved the merger on Monday. The FCC is still trying to figure out how to satisfy their NAB masters and not lose face.
