CE Spending Looks Dismal - But Macs Set to Hit New All-Time High
I don't trust these dumb questioners.. who can answer a question on if they will spend more or less on consumer electronics in the next 90 days.. I think it's ridiculous.
What isn't rediculous is MAC's market share that keeps growing and growing. I hold Apple stock and plan to do so for a very long wile longer:
      1. just started selling over seas.
      2. zero debt.
      3. king of brands.
The rest is just a bunch of blah blah if you ask me..

6 Things Apple's Not Doing Right
I don't think Apple is intentionally focusing on Jobbs and I think he has installed a corporate culture which will carry them for a long while longer.
Sorry, but these "wrong doings" are picking a fight - it's a brave statement aimed at a company who scores a perfect A+ for branding, marketing, technology and performance.
They are Teflon baby, and will remain such for a while..

Honestly? I think these days folks should stay away from these experimental technologies. Looking 6 months ahead, I think ISRG will out perform both of them.
I've owned ISRG for a while now (see my portfolio on my site) and done amazingly well with it.

Apple: Great Company with Lofty Valuation - Due for Pullback
Here we go again... you say one thing, but contradict yourself just to stay on the safe side.
I've owned Apple since may of 2003 and people were always wondering weather the valuation is too rich.. I made 1000% since.
Apple is way more than calculating the number of phones sold... it's a brand!!!

Best and Worst Performing Stocks on Earnings
As a WFR shareholder i must say this is comforting news. These guys have been beaten up bad and my research has led me to the conclusion that there is no reason to sell. Investors soured on WFR because it wasn't able to handle the huge influx of business it's receiving.. get it? the stock is cut down because there is too much business!
Now if this were a high flying company with a high P/E, it would make sense to figure they won't be able to grow as fast as was expected, but WFR has a P/E of 16..
This is more proof that wall street institutions have simply lost touch with the street. I used to have respect for these guys but it's become so technical, you can't see the company from all the shenanigans they try to pull.
I for one am happy wall street bankers are loosing their jobs and going to jail.. they robbed us blind and left our tax dollars to clean up their mess - they need to do time.

      Alvarion: Blessed or Cursed?
      Hi Zack,
I beg to differ my friend.
I have 3 issues with Alvarion:
      1. Cisco and Intel have made their Wimax acquisition plays and alvarion was passed up.
      2. US sprint is zig zaging on whether it will or will not adopt Wimax technology, and going bankrupt while they think about it.
      3. I had opportunity to be in the Alvarion offices in Ramat Hahayl.. this didn't seem like a winning company atmosphere to me.. laugh it off if you like, but when the offices are half empty at 4pm and people lack pep in their step - you know this isn't a winner..
      Chhers,

      Home Healthcare: Towards Wise Exuberance
      Hi Daryl,
      Thanks for a great post.
Amedisys Inc posted second-quarter results that beat market estimates and said its integration of TLC Health Care Services was ahead of schedule.
Net service revenue rose about 85 percent to $312.7 million.
As I have written before I simply love this company - it has all the makings of a fantastic growth story - here's why:
      1. It's a small cap. At under 2 billion valuation these guys can multiply 5 fold in value before reaching any kind of market saturation.
      2. AMED is on an aggressive buying spree - bought two old age facilities since the year began and still retain a reasonable ROE of 16%
      3. This whole sector is racing up - take a look at the industry chart compared to the S&P - like a mirror image.. Old age care is breaking out in a sprint:
      www.m?arketguru.com?/h...
      4. The one thing you can count on in this market is that baby boomers are retiring, getting old and in dire need of these services.
      Hope the run continues.

5 Key Quotes from Netflix on the Movie Distribution Business
      I was not convinced..
Netflix's answers were very sloppy.. are they really relying on XboX to bring them revenue?
Netflix need to merge with TIVO or die.. Movie rentals by snail mail may still grow for a while but what investor wants to get caught holding the stock when it turns out snail mail is growing no longer.
This is very discouraging from NFLX.
